Weed Audit

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 14 May 2026  ·  Sean Fernyhough

Weed Audit is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. The app does not contain advertising, does not use analytics services, and does not sell or share your personal information with any third party.

1. What data the app collects

Weed Audit stores only the information you choose to enter:

No location data, contacts, camera, microphone, or health records are accessed.

2. Where data is stored

All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you are signed in to iCloud, your data is also synchronised across your devices via Apple's CloudKit service. This sync is encrypted in transit and at rest. Sean Fernyhough has no access to your iCloud data.

3. Analytics and advertising

Weed Audit contains no analytics tools, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking of any kind. No usage data is collected or transmitted to Sean Fernyhough or any other party.

4. In-app purchases

Weed Audit offers a one-week free trial followed by a one-time lifetime purchase. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. Sean Fernyhough does not receive, store, or process any payment card details. Purchase history is managed by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy policy.

5. THC and CBD estimates

THC and CBD figures displayed in the app are scientific-style habit-awareness estimates calculated from the amounts and strain data you log. They are not medical measurements, impairment indicators, or drug-test predictors. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

Do not use these estimates for driving, workplace, legal, medical, or drug-testing decisions.

6. Age requirement

Weed Audit is rated 17+ on the App Store and is intended for adult use only. The app is not directed at or intended for use by anyone under the age of 17.

7. Children's privacy

Weed Audit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has entered information into the app, please contact us so we can assist.

8. Data deletion

All data is stored on your own device and iCloud account. You can delete individual entries or your full history at any time within the app. To remove all data entirely, delete the app from your device. Your iCloud data can be managed through the iCloud settings on your device.

9. Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
